contemplative mood.
Heard about the tsunamis and earthquakes happening around the world. Scary, isnt it? Much sympathy going to the people living in Japan, though i dont have anybody who reads my blog in Japan, Takecare, you all! And when bad times/things hit, it doesnt choose like, okay, 'there's gna be a tsunami, and only robbers and murderers will get killed in it, everyone else will be spared', maybe in channel8dramas, that would happen. But not so in the real world. Heard that creators of pokemon and hellokitty also died in the tsunami? Im not sure if they can be classified as good, or bad. Cause none of us prolly know about them in real life, but generally, they'd be considered as the good guys. And they also got killed in the tsunami. Life isnt fair huh?
And they said that singapore's pretty safe, due to our geographical situation, something like, we're 'protected' by the surrounding countries, and so we wont ever be hit. But you've prolly seen titanic right? Everyone said, 'the boat wont sink', and due to the pride of the captains, they didnt take precautions such as to have more lifeboats and stuff, and so well, you know what happened. And im not tryna make you feel all gloomy and depressed, nor to be 'cursing' singapore. But if God wants to send a tsunami to singapore, nothing's gna stop Him.
Which begs the question, IF one day, singapore gets hit by a tsunami, how then? Now this is gonna sound abit depressed, or whatever you call it, but i think im ready to die. (though obviously like every other girl, i wish i can get married or smthg first before dying), but yes, i've mentioned this a number of times before, but as christians, we believe that if you accept Jesus into your heart, as you Lord and saviour, you WILL be saved, it's in the bible. Not Maybe you will be saved, but you WILL be saved. And i know im far from the perfect human, or perfect christian. In fact, im prolly one of the worser ones, but clinging on to the promise God made, that we will be saved, so long as you believe. Not to say that just believe, and thats it. Cause when you REALLY believe, you do try your best to follow after God. Hm?
So yes, if we were to get hit by a tsunami, we'd die, and go to heaven. No more heartpains, no more backpains, no more headpains, no more stresspains. Life would be wonderful in heaven. Just look around earth and see the evil of it, in heaven, there'd be none of it! And im confident of my faith, and im confident that if i die, i'll be going to heaven. Are you confident about yours? Yeah sure, i feel shaky and scared sometimes, 'specially when i did smthg wrong, and start worrying if God would get angry, and not let me enter the pearly gates of heaven. But through prayer and the reading of God's word, i feel comforted and confident again.
Again to say, if some natural disaster happens, there wont be time for you to say, quickly tryna pray of something, since it happenes in a split second. Which is why when all is well, a body should start finding out more about 'what happen when i die?' so that you'd feel more assured i guess? And not so worried about dying?
These are just thoughts on my mind, in light of the billions of natural disasters that seem to be happening recently. Hopefully i did not say anything offending to another religeon? Im sorry if i do, this is just my stand. And i guess, 'to each his own' huh? But for anyone else, i'd be more than glad to tell you about christianity, if you're interested to know more, (:
