yeah, i havent blogged in a looooong while, BUSY LA. HAHA.
second week into IMH. like, SOOO much better than polyclinic! okay, so i'll admit when i first started imh-ing, which was 270910, it was WAAAAYYY freaky, okay, imagine a few billion heads, okay, fine. about 10 heads plastered to the door that you need to enter, you know, the kinda classroom door with that bit or see through glass? like WHO ON EARTH would dare to enter the place la, plus they all have that weird facial expression. when we walked into the room finally w a teacher, all of us were like trembling, i swear, it's seeeeriously scary! :O
okay, but that was like, first day, HAHA. now it's like really comfortable being w them, and though they can suddenly act up and become aggressive, (like just today we saved a staff nurse from being punched, HAHA!) but still, it's really enjoyable. :D (Y)(Y)
ive got like a million billion zillion stories about IMH, so ask me if you wanna know! but you just might regret, cause i'll never end, but seriously, it's super fun! okay, but it's a little depressing, seeing as how they've been there like, some BEFORE i was even born, which means they've been there for 20 over years, and the place is not exactly a 5star hotel you know, it barely fits a one star chalet lar, like the smell of urine evrywhere, and not just those kinda smelly coffee shop toilets, these are sick patients, so it's EXTERME smellyness, due to the drugs, and well, the fact that they drink their pee and eat their shit? i guess that factors in to their smell too huh. and they're like so pitiful cause basically they spend their life, eating drinking and sleeping, this is really called, '等死' for you nonchinese people, it's called, 'wait to die' or smthg like that, but yeah, sad, sad..
but oh wells, what's to be done about that? we cant decorate the place, cause anything we put up can be used for them to kill themselves, or eachother, or even worse, the staff, and we clean clean clean, after while, it just gets smelly again. but me, shamu and lixia today went around pasting their art work on the walls in an effort to brighten up the place! i hope the patients appreciate it, cause the staff certainly didnt seem too. or rather they just errrr, okay, not bad, that kinda thing, cause they say patients will tear it off after while. but oh wells, at least there's an effort there huh? HAHA.
okay, this is kinda getting to be a wordy post, shall sign off here and continue another day!
needa sleep, but thankfully, it's afternoon shift tmrw!(Y), though my post seems to be rather depressing i guess? but i still kinda like working here, more of a therapeutic bed side nursing care instead of general ward where it's bustling everywhere doing procedures and reports. but it's kinda mentally challenging? ohman, idk whether i should work here next time! okayokay, stop, time to go sleep, or tmrw will be a tiring day, HAHA.
